It is a waterfront wonderland with 27 miles of shoreline and more than 400 miles of fresh and salt water canals which is more than in Venice, Italy. Cape Coral has a small sandy beach and pier. It's about a 30 minute drive to Ft Myers Beach or Sanibel Island. Busch Gardens in Tampa is approximately a 2 hr drive and the Orlando/Disney locations are just under a 4 hour drive.
